We recommend booking your session during pregnancy—preferably around the 7th or 8th month—to ensure availability and plan the perfect setup for your baby.

We have two fully equipped studios — one located in Ludhiana and another in Chandigarh. You can choose the studio that’s most convenient for you and book your slot accordingly. In special cases, we also offer in-home lifestyle sessions for families who prefer the comfort of their own space. Home sessions are available at a minimal additional cost, depending on the location. Please contact us in advance for availability and package details.

You’re welcome to get your makeup done by your own artist, or we can arrange it for you at our studio. We work with a professional freelance makeup artist who specializes in maternity looks. The makeup service is available at an additional cost of ₹2,500 per session.

If you choose to avail this service, please plan to arrive at the studio at least one hour before your scheduled shoot time so we can coordinate the makeup and photography seamlessly.

We recommend wearing light, solid-coloured outfits that complement the soft and timeless feel of the photos. Shades like white, cream, beige, peach, pastel blue, or light yellow work beautifully on camera. It’s best to avoid bold prints or busy patterns, as they can distract from the baby and the natural expressions that make your photos truly special.

Yes, we have a wide range of outfits available in our studio wardrobe. You can select dresses based on your package inclusions and the number of looks included. Please contact us in advance to view our dress portfolio and make your selections before the session.

For milestone sessions (3, 6, 9, or 12 months), book 2–3 weeks in advance. We design setups around your baby’s age, personality, and favorite colors.

  1. What is the ideal age for a newborn photoshoot?

The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is between 2 to 15 days after birth. During this golden period, babies are naturally sleepy, flexible, and comfortable, allowing us to create safe, adorable, and creative poses with ease.

After this stage, babies become more alert and active, making complex poses less likely — though we can still capture beautiful expressions and moments.

That’s why the first 15 days are perfect for achieving the most peaceful and picture-perfect results.

Absolutely! There’s no specific age limit for capturing your baby’s memories. Every stage of your baby’s growth is beautiful and worth preserving. Whether your baby is 2 months, 6 months, or 2 years old, we design the session according to their age, comfort, and personality.

A typical session lasts 2 to 4 hours, depending on the baby’s comfort, baby’s age, feeding breaks, and the number of setups planned.

To confirm your booking, we require a small advance payment as a booking fee to secure your slot. The remaining balance is due on the day of the photoshoot. This helps us finalize your setup, props, and schedule in advance to ensure a smooth and well-planned session.

Yes! We have a wide collection of props, wraps, baskets, headbands, and themed outfits for both boys and girls. Parents can get their clothes just to add the unique variety and customization in the shoot.

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority — all poses are baby-led, and we never force a position. The studio is clean, warm, and sanitized before every session.

Edited images are usually delivered within 20 working days from the date of your final photo selection. Once you’ve made your selections, our team begins the detailed editing and customization process to ensure the best possible results. Yes! We offer high-resolution digital images, premium printed albums, and wall frames as part of our package options.

We understand new parents’ schedules can change — just inform us at least 48 hours in advance, and we’ll help you reschedule easily without any extra charges. 

Definitely! We love turning your family’s story into a creative photoshoot concept that makes your images truly one-of-a-kind.

All images remain the property of BirthMoment Studio and may be used for portfolio or promotional purposes. Clients who wish to retain exclusive rights to their images can opt for full copyright ownership at an additional fee of ₹5,000 per session.

We securely store your raw data for up to six months from the date of your session. We request clients to share their final photo selections within this period, as we cannot guarantee data availability beyond six months.

Additionally, we provide a pen drive containing all your raw data, ensuring that you already have a personal backup of your session files. While we take utmost care in maintaining our data, please note that our storage period is subject to hardware functionality and technical conditions, and we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen data loss beyond this duration.

We understand delays can happen — especially with newborns or maternity sessions — so we allow a 30-minute buffer. However, since our schedule is time-bound, late arrivals beyond this period may lead to a shortened session or rescheduling the pending shoot to the next available slot. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a smooth experience for all clients.

Baby casting is the process of creating a 3D impression of your baby’s hands or feet, capturing every tiny detail, and turning it into a beautiful keepsake.

Yes, 100% safe. We use skin-friendly, non-toxic, and baby-safe materials that are gentle and completely harmless.

Casting can be done at any age, but most parents prefer it within the first few months to capture those tiny details forever.

The actual casting takes only a few minutes per hand/foot. The entire appointment may take 30–45 minutes, including setup.

Not at all. The material feels soft and cool, like a gentle clay, and sets quickly. Most babies don’t even notice it.

Yes! We offer family castings where we can capture parents holding the baby’s hand together.

It usually takes 20 working days finishing, detailing, and framing before your keepsake is ready within the frame.

Yes, we offer multiple frame styles, name engravings, and personalization options to match your home décor.

We provide only framed castings, as the frame protects the casting and enhances its overall look. Without framing, the casting may lose its durability and finishing quality. Our goal is to give you a keepsake that lasts beautifully for years.

We take a nominal booking amount to confirm your slot. The remaining payment needs to be completed right after the casting process. Once done, your customized frame will be ready after 20 working days of time.

We always try our best to keep your baby comfortable during the process. If, in rarest of cases, your baby is not cooperative and the casting cannot be completed, we will only charge for the initial booking amount. The remaining amount will not be taken. Your baby’s comfort is our top priority.

Yes, we have tie-ups with several reputed hospitals in Chandigarh and Ludhiana. If you’d like the casting to be done at your hospital, please contact us in advance. Even if we don’t have a tie-up with your hospital, we can still come and do the casting there with prior permission.

Yes. If you haven’t taken our photography package, you’ll need to share your baby’s picture with us. If you’ve availed our photography package, we’ll capture beautiful photos during the shoot and you can select the best one to be included in your casting frame.

Yes, we do offer home visits for newborns and tiny babies. A minimal travel charge applies based on your location. Please contact us in advance, and we’ll share the estimated charges for the home visit.

Delivery is not included in the package. You’ll need to collect your casting frame from our Chandigarh or Ludhiana studio. However, if you are unable to pick it up, we can arrange doorstep delivery for you with additional charges. Please contact us in advance for more details.

Don’t worry—we will patiently try again until we get the perfect cast. All additional attempts are done at no extra cost to you. Your baby’s comfort and the quality of the keepsake are always our top priority.
